Road Safety Matters is a newly developed teacher led road safety resource for Junior Cycle students that is interesting, fun and enjoyable for the teacher and students. The new resource has been developed to place student wellbeing at the centre of learning. The resource aims to ensure students learn the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to keep themselves and others safe on the roads.

The learning experienced while participating in this programme will be of use to students in their everyday lives as pedestrians, cyclists, passengers and drivers. It will enhance student’s wellbeing throughout their lives and empower students with the necessary skills to be responsible, safe road users.

For this academic year we are introducing just 10 lessons to be delivered to first year students.
